Week 4 Reflection
If your project had a mascot, what would it look like and why? How does this mascot represent your project?
If I had to choose a mascot, it would be a robot with a monitor screen for a head, displaying a grid layout. Over the past two weeks, I’ve been working on a spreadsheet, writing down areas for improvement on various websites. This ties into the mascot, as its screen resembles a spreadsheet. The reason it’s a robot is that I’ve been working efficiently, ensuring I record all my ideas and completing the tasks effectively.
How is your team working together so far? Are there any areas where collaboration could be improved to make things more effective?
If I could improve one aspect of team collaboration, I would work on improving communication. In our group, we held a meeting, but having more frequent meetings could have helped ensure that everyone was on track and that any questions were answered. This would allow team members to work more effectively and contribute to achieving the best possible results.
What drives you to stay motivated and productive throughout the week? Are there any specific factors that help you stay focused?
I often find myself working slower than my group members as I enjoy taking my time to complete tasks. Seeing my group members get ahead pushes me to continually put in more effort, stay focused, and find ways to improve my efficiency without compromising the quality of my work. At times, this dynamic challenges me to step outside my comfort zone, helping me develop better time management skills and adapt to different working styles.
If you could add one character to your team to make it stronger, who would it be and why?
If I had to pick one character from a TV show, it would be Harvey Specter from Suits, and I would want him to be the leader. This is because he is a knowledgeable guy who is very confident and always gets the job done. If he were on my team, I would continually put in that work to try to match the quality of work done by him. Whenever I watch an episode of that show, I’m always put in the mood to be productive and get work done. Having someone like him would be very beneficial to the team.
