Tips and Fun with Math (Grade 1 - 2)

Date: 20/Mar – 21/Aug Mondays (6 weeks)
Time: 4:30-5:00 PM

Description: Join our G1-G2 level Tips and Fun with Math virtually, where students can sit comfortably at home, while receiving classroom quality of math deliveries and develop basic logic and arithmetic skills, a general understanding of geometries, and simple word problems! We see the importance of building a solid foundation for student’s early math knowledge, and aim to help students’ development with useful tricks and joy!

Tips and Fun with Math (Grade 7 - 8)

Date: 20/Mar – 21/Aug Mondays (6 weeks)
Time: 5:00-5:30 PM

Description: Join our G7-G8 level Tips and Fun with Math virtually, where students can sit comfortably at home, while receiving classroom quality of math deliveries and apply their logic, arithmetic skills, and geometry knowledge to real-world math problems, solidifying their understanding of Algebra! We see how stressful is it for students to prepare for high school math, and we are here to help students better equip for a whole new level of math, with joy and support with practical tips for assessment!

Introduction to Game - Scratch II

Date: 4/Apr – 16/May Tuesdays and Thursdays (5 weeks)
Time: 5:00 PM

Description: Create your own game from Scratch! You will get a chance to draw your own character and design your one-of-a-kind interacting game with simple drag-and-drops. No coding experience is required!

French Reading Club

Date: 29/Mar – 20/Dec Wednesdays (10 weeks)
Time: 4:00-4:30 PM EST
Suggested age: 4-8

Description: Join U+ Education and Markham Public Library every month for our live from our live French Reading Club from the comfort of your home! This virtual program will be held over Zoom on a monthly basis and will be led by professional language instructors. Together we will practice our French comprehension and reading skills in a group setting by reading along to classic books selected by the library. Children (4-8) can join our beginner story time where we will focus on introductory concepts such as the French alphabet, colours and other basic vocabularies

French Reading Club (9-15)

Date: 29/Mar – 20/Dec Wednesdays (10 weeks)
Time: 4:30-5:00 PM EST
Suggested age: 9-15

Description: Join U+ Education and Markham Public Library every month for our live from our live French Reading Club from the comfort of your home! This virtual program will be held over Zoom on a monthly basis and will be led by professional language instructors. Together we will practice our French comprehension and reading skills in a group setting by reading along to classic books selected by the library. Children (9-15) can join our intermediate story time where we will read more advanced French books and aim to foster conversations in French! *Beginner/Intermediate French is recommended.

Travel to Japan (Fundamentals)

Date: 26/Apr – 20/Dec Wednesdays (9 weeks)
Time: 5:00-5:30 PM EST
Suggested age: 4-9

Description: Ever wanted to know what it feels like to travel to Japan? Now’s your chance! Japanese fundamentals is a beginner Japanese course that focuses on learning new vocabularies, improving students’ pronunciation and identifying basic Japanese words! This class is taught and supervised by a native Japanese instructor from U+ Education.
