Week 2 Reflection
What was one learning objective or goal you had entering this co-op placement? Did you accomplish it? How so/why not?
One goal that I had when entering U+ Education is to learn more about web development, as I wanted to hone my skills and improve them. And I believe that I accomplished this goal as before I never really understood Wix and I was a beginner but after coming to U+ Education I was able to learn more about Wix and be introduced to projects which helped push me to push myself and learn more and learn new ways of using Wix as without U+ Education I doubt I would have been able to accomplish my goal to improve in web development.
What is the most memorable thing about your placement at U+? It can be an interaction, a project, a skill. Explain it.
A memorable thing at my U+ Education that I will always remember is the friends I made along the way as when I started working at U+ I was worried I may not know anyone and I was always worried that I wouldn’t make friends as an introvert but U+ helped push me towards the right path of pushing out of my comfort zone and start interacting more with people and this helped me become a more social person rather than before where I was not as social.
How has your co-op experience at U+ influenced your career aspirations? (Consider the roles you are open to take on, working model/location, uncompromisable workplace values, etc.)
Yes after attending U+ Education I want to try and get into software and work on websites in the future. Ever since I took this role it has always been enjoyable and fun working on web development task as I always enjoyed making websites and I would love to do this as a future career as I think I would really enjoy it.
