Week 2 Reflection
What was one learning objective or goal you had entering this co-op placement? Did you accomplish it? How so/why not?
A learning objective or goal I had entering this co-op placement was to learn how to use WordPress and expand my knowledge, and skill, and also just practice using Wix. After the 5 months I have been working at U+ Education, I can wholeheartedly say I have accomplished both of my goals, as I have learned valuable skills from Neeha, my project manager/supervisor and gotten practice with Wix. She has also taught me the basics of how to use WordPress, and now I am confident in my ability to use both sites in the future.
What is the most memorable thing about your placement at U+? It can be an interaction, a project, a skill. Explain it.
The most memorable thing about my placement at U-Plus Education is probably the feedback I have received. Due to the feedback I have received from my co-op supervisors, that allowed to me to work on myself and be a better worker, and those skills I have learned to work on, helped me become a better student in school too.
How has your co-op experience at U+ influenced your career aspirations? (Consider the roles you are open to take on, working model/location, uncompromisable workplace values, etc.)
As a web developer, my work here at U-Plus Education has been extremely fun and has me considering having web developing as a side hustle, if not a main hustle. If I do confirm having web development as a main or side hustle, I will continue practicing and learning more about the features on WordPress and Wix then will help those who need a site with my expertise.
