November Week 3 Reflection – Elina Zhang

Elina's November Week 3 Reflection

How do you think your work impacts your team and the organization as a whole? Describe what a perfect team member looks like, from your experience.

I think the work I do impacts my team by providing them with suggestions and helping each other on projects. It is hard to do a project all by yourself and tips from your teammates make a big difference. I think the work we do impacts the organization because some work we do, for example the sponsorship brochure, allows for more sponsors which opens new opportunities for the company. What I look for in a perfect team member is communication. Good communication is key. Whether you’re providing updates on your work, sharing research findings, or collaborating with others, making sure you’re clear and approachable will strengthen the team’s workflow.

If you had the creative freedom to design the course of your own projects, what would they look like? Give at least 2 examples with explanations.

I would design a social media campaign for a nonprofit or cause that I care about. The team would develop a business plan around promoting the cause to raise awareness and funds for example, promoting on Instagram and Red-book. Another example could be starting a YouTube channel where you analyze current business trends, the stock market, or entrepreneurial success stories. The focus would be on breaking down complex business topics and making them accessible and entertaining for high school students or young adults.

Pick 3 fictional characters you would like to have on your dream team. Explain why and how these characters will benefit your work at U+.

  1. Doraemon: My first pick would definitely be Doraemon because he has a pocket full of goodies! His magical pocket is filled with futuristic gadgets that can solve almost any problem. Doraemon’s futuristic perspective would inspire the team with innovative ideas for business growth as well.
  2. Hermione: Hermione is a brilliant and organized student with a strong sense of discipline. In my team, she would be the go-to person for organizing projects, solving complex problems, and finding creative solutions. Her magical abilities could also come in handy!
  3. Dumbledore: Dumbledore is known for his wisdom and ability to see the bigger picture. In my team, he would provide valuable guidance when it comes to navigating challenges, whether they involve internal team dynamics or external business hurdles.

What music soundtrack would be playing in the background if someone had to make a montage of your typical day at U+?

For me, it would probably be “Chk Chk Boom” by Stray Kids as the soundtrack for my montage because it would infuse the video with excitement, positivity, and a playful energy. The song would enhance the mood of action, collaboration, and achievement, making the montage feel vibrant and engaging.
