Aaron's November Week 1 Reflection
Reflect on your tasks this week. What was the most frustrating and fulfilling part of it? Briefly discuss how steps can be taken to improve workflow and team communication.
One of the task I had this week was to revamp a website and all though initially the task was very time consuming and was hard I managed to preserve and worked towards trying to finish it but I had to ask my project coordinator if I could get an extension to work on it and she allowed me hence provided me more time to work on it!
How do you stay inspired and motivated in your work, even on challenging days? In what ways does U+ support you during those challenging times?
U+ supports me during my challenging times by giving me the privilege to gain new experiences and knowledge to add to my daily life as this ensures I am well equip to help out other people if need be as helping other people makes my experience more fulfilling and helps me inspire to become better and motivated to work harder
What are some skills or “hidden talents” you have that could spark something new in our work if we tapped into them?
Some of my hidden talents/skills are my coding background. When I was younger I would do a lot of coding, working on numerous different projects teaching myself the basics, and working on getting to the more advanced level of coding. due to the immense amount of courses I watched, I have an understanding of what people look for when they are trying to learn since I’ve watched so many tutorials I think I would be able to propose ideas for how we can structure courses to help it become more engaging for younger audience as since sometimes kids tend to get distracted easily I would be able to help purpose some ideas to make kids more engaged as the ideas I would be proposing helped me become be more involved while learning coding. If we did tap into my hidden talents/skills for my coding background, I would be able to help provide some valuable insight into how we can make the course more engaging for the younger audience to enjoy!
If you could collaborate with anyone in the company, who would it be and why?
If I could collaborate with anyone in the company I would collaborate with anyone in the marketing department. Reason being is because I would love to also understand a little about marketing tactics and overall what methods they implement to enhance audiences to click on our sites as this would help me improve our websites by coordinating with them on ways we can improve the websites.
