Krishna's February Reflection
What’s one piece of constructive criticism you received during your time at U+ that changed your perspective or approach? How did you implement it?
During my time at U+, one piece of constructive criticism I received was to be more proactive in seeking feedback and collaboration, rather than waiting for it to come to me. Initially, I was focused on delivering tasks independently, but I realized that proactively engaging with teammates and soliciting their perspectives could improve the quality of my work and enhance team synergy.
To implement this, I started scheduling regular check-ins with colleagues and supervisors to get their insights on my work before finalizing it. This helped me catch potential issues early, build stronger relationships with my team, and feel more confident in the direction I was heading. It also allowed me to contribute more to group discussions and projects, making me feel more involved in the team’s success.

What’s a “small win” you accomplished recently that made a big difference in your confidence or productivity?
A small win that significantly boosted my confidence was receiving positive feedback from my peers on a webpage I had struggled to implement. The design and formatting challenges made it hard to move forward with any of the iterations or mocks. After taking a break and focusing on another task, I came back with a fresh perspective and the inspiration to finish the page. The end result was a well-defined, aesthetically pleasing, and informative page that both I and my colleagues were proud of. It was a great way to wrap up the week and gave me the motivation to tackle the next one.
If your first two months at U+ were a TV show, what would the title be and what genre would it fall under?
The Office perfectly represents the first two months here at U+ for me. Just like in the show, we are all doing our own things, focussed on our own stories and tasks that occasionally intertwine. The moments of fresh air among the chaos of all the operations is almost one-to-one with the show as there is always something happening.
