Employees of the Month
On February 4, we were proud to announce the Employees of the Month at U+. Congratulations to Molly Turner and Nora Meneshian, who earned this recognition through their hard work and outstanding contributions!
What’s inspiring about these two recipients is that they joined our team just one month ago. Regardless of tenure, both demonstrated qualities that set them apart.
Their achievements in January offer valuable lessons that can help you become the next Employee of the Month. Here’s an excerpt from Molly and Nora’s first month at U+:
“I have really enjoyed my time here at U+ so far,” writes Molly. “Over the last month, I have learned how important it is to say ‘yes’ to as many opportunities and experiences as I can. It has allowed me to grow within my position as a Logistics Coordinator, and it has shown my supervisors that I am eager to learn! I have also learned the importance of communicating clearly with my colleagues. Using Slack has been a game changer for me, as it is a quick and easy way to get in touch with my peers and supervisors whenever I have a question. Through that, I have learned that being concise and professional in my messages helps me have the best possible interactions with my coworkers.”
Molly is excited to see what the next month at U+ will bring! She has also thoroughly enjoyed working alongside her fellow Employee of the Month winner, Nora.
“To me, succeeding at U+ means treating every project as if it were my own,” Nora says. “I always aim to be proactive by taking initiative, figuring things out independently, and stepping up when needed rather than waiting for instructions. Whether it’s refining a small email draft or coordinating an entire project, there are always opportunities to take ownership. As a Project Coordinator, the workload can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I break tasks into smaller, manageable steps. This helps me stay organized, spot issues early, and ask for clarification when needed. Most importantly, success here is a team effort. We’re here to support one another and grow together!”
