Employee of the Month
On March 11, we were pleased to announce the Employee of the Month at U+. Congratulations to Thadseja Perinpanesan, who earned this recognition through her dedication, hard work, and positive contributions to the team.
Thadseja serves as both a Marketing Coordinator and Teaching Assistant at U+ and joined us just over two months ago. In that short time, she has made a strong impression through her adaptability, kindness, and willingness to take on new projects. Her commitment and work ethic have been truly inspiring to those around her.
Here is an excerpt from Thadseja on what has helped her succeed at U+:
“U+ has been a pleasure to work with over these past two months. I feel that I have grown both professionally and personally during my time here, and U+ has been incredibly supportive of that growth. Throughout my experience, I have developed several strategies that help me stay effective at work.
One piece of advice I would offer to anyone working at U+ is to time-block your tasks each day. As a Marketing Coordinator, I often move between several projects and work on multiple initiatives at once. In the morning, I usually set aside a specific amount of time for each task and focus on accomplishing as much as I can within that period. This approach allows me to make steady progress on everything each day, while also giving me the chance to return the next day with a fresh perspective and catch any errors I may have missed.
Another tip I have for being an effective employee is to voice your concerns and opinions. I value transparency with my peers, and speaking openly has helped me maintain a healthy balance between my personal and professional life without feeling too overwhelmed.
Finding what works best for you and applying those strategies consistently is essential to success, and I hope some of my approaches can help others who may find it beneficial.”
